Size Guide
Every Naylara kaftan is listed in standard US women's dress sizes — the size you select on the product page and the size in its measurement chart are always the same label. Our pieces come in two families: sized kaftans (US 0–22) and One Size kaftans cut with a generous drape. Kaftans are designed to flow — they carry far more ease than a fitted dress, so in most cases your usual US dress size is the right choice.
Naylara Size Chart — US Sizes
Find your body measurements below, then order the matching US size. Some styles use a combined first size (for example US 0-2) — it fits both sizes in the range. If you are between sizes: size down for Relaxed (flowy) styles, size up for Fitted or belted styles.

The letter column is a general equivalence to help if you usually shop in S/M/L. On Naylara, sizes are always shown as US sizes.
How to Measure Yourself
Use a soft measuring tape over light clothing or a non-padded bra, and keep the tape snug but not tight — slip one finger underneath it.
- Bust — around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
- Waist — around the narrowest part of your natural waistline.
- Hip — around the fullest part of your hips, about 8" (20 cm) below your waist.
Understanding “One Size” Kaftans
Many traditional kaftans are cut as One Size with a very wide, draped silhouette. On these products, the label always states the range it comfortably fits — for example One Size | US 0–14 or One Size | US 0–18.
To be sure, open the Size Guide on the product page and check the garment bust: for a comfortable drape, the garment should measure at least 6" (15 cm) more than your own bust. Our one-size pieces typically measure 79" (200 cm) or more around, so they flow generously on most bodies within the stated range.
Reading a Product Size Guide (Garment Measurements)
Every kaftan product page includes its own size guide with garment measurements — the dress itself, not your body — listed under the exact same size labels as the size selector:
- Bust — the full circumference of the garment at the underarm.
- Sleeve — from the shoulder seam to the cuff.
- Length — from the shoulder to the hem.
Compare these numbers to a dress you already love, or use this rule of thumb for how much room a kaftan should give you over your body bust:

Length Guide

Do kaftans run big or small?
Kaftans are designed with generous ease, so they will always feel roomier than a fitted dress. Order your usual US dress size — the drape is intentional.
What does a size like “US 0-2” mean?
Some styles combine the two smallest sizes into one cut — it fits both US 0 and US 2 comfortably.
I’m between sizes — which one should I pick?
Size down on Relaxed and One Size styles; size up on Fitted or structured styles (look for the fit note on each product page).
Will a One Size kaftan fit me?
